In the commercial they use the archetypes of the explorer; the men experience the apocalypse. The archetype of the sage is also represented in the Chevy commercial. In the end they state how one of the man who did not survive the apocalypse drove a ford. The only men who survived were those who were wise and drove a Chevy Silverado. The third archetype in the commercial is the regular guy. All the men in the commercial are represented as ordinary men; therefore, men can feel like any ordinary man can drive the Chevy.
